At Nightcliff Primary we strive to develop the whole child and their capacity to achieve their intellectual, social, emotional and physical potential. We have developed whole school approaches to academic programs, student wellbeing and student leadership. All learning at Nightcliff Primary takes place in a safe, supportive, innovative and sustainable learning environment.
Academic Excellence
Using the Australian Curriculum, Nightcliff Primary teachers plan and program for high quality student learning. We have embedded whole school approaches for Mathematics, English, Science, Health & Physical Education and Wellbeing which ensures consistency across the school.

In 2019 Nightcliff Primary School attained the International Schools Eco Green Flag Award for our whole school approaches to creating a clean, green school environment. A fundamental part of our approach is the development of considerate, environmentally minded students taking on leadership roles.
21ST century curriculum
Nightcliff Primary School is an innovative, forward thinking school. The school's commitment to 21st Century approaches, uses technology to develop student learning and achievement. Teaching and learning critical thinking and problem solving skills, developing communication and creativity is integral to all we do.
parents as partners
 Positive relationships are developed with parents to assist in the overall development of each child. Regular communication is encouraged between parents and teachers. The School Council is  elected annually to ensure parent input and assist in the overall development of the school.
