School Council

The Nightcliff Primary School Council is an Incorporated Body governed by the Education Act 2015 (NT) with its own Constitution. It is made of representatives of the school community working together for the best outcomes for children.  

The council builds links between parents, the community and the school. It advises the Principal about the educational needs of the community through an action planning process. Other roles include determining community use of facilities, overseeing the school’s annual financial budget and being engaged in various projects and activities for school improvement.

The council meets eight times a year on a Thursday at 6 pm. All parents are encouraged to attend meetings ,although only Council members have voting rights.
